In a Time...
...before White-Man had destroyed this wondrous land, the Natives were the ones who took care of the land. They were a pleasant people, and treated the land and the animals with respect, taking only what they needed. And moreover, they lived peacefully with the true natives of the land: the wild mustangs.
The Seminole Herd...
...is the largest and most prominent of the mustang herds. The herd lives in peace and happiness in it's welcoming territory. Occasionally, they would be visited by the Natives, and several horses would be parted from the herd to become part of the Native tribe, but these times were infrequent, and worried the herd very little. The herd continued to live in peace with the Natives for many a years.
A Few Score Years Later...
...the Natives vanished from the lands of the Seminole, and the surrounding area. The new generation of horses that now called the Seminole Herd their home was baffled by their disappearance. Claims arose that the Natives had been seen fleeing the territory, and the word was that it was an illness that had struck the nearby villages. The mustangs, however, thought little of it, and continued with their lives, free and easy, but they failed to think of one thing: what happened to the horses of the Natives?
Another Twoscore Years Passed...
...before the question was answered. Tucked away in the mountains where a large abandoned Native village still stands, resides a newly formed horse herd called the Osceola. The ancestors of these horses once belonged to the Natives that fled, or were killed by the disease, but have now become wild and own the land that the Natives once owned. This herd is secretive and quiet, and remains tucked away in it's territory, content on staying alone.
