New land, new place, new life, oh how she loved a new life, she could do whatever the hell she wanted - or so she thought. Knowing that she wasn't able to get away with everything on her list to do, but she was as sure as hell going to try. Arizona wasn't a mare to care about your rules, or following them for all that she was worth, you could try and force them upon her, but she wasn't going to have any of it either way. Yeah she knew that she probably should follow them and that was the rule of life, but she was a stubborn mare, she didn't like your rules, she lived by her own and that was pretty much that for her. Who cared about getting into trouble? She didn't.
Living through most of her life, or what she had done so far, being four, she had lived through a lot. She knew what to be on guard over, what to expect. Knowing now what she had to watch out for and the danger in life, sure, she maybe a little on the cocky side of things, Arizona did know her limit. It was just up to her whether she kept to that limit or not, she was smart, but really cocky and confident, the perfect way she was sure she should be. She cared not if she got in a lot of trouble for the things that she did, even if she had to fight half of the time. It didn't make her care any more than she already did if you stood there preaching to her.
Arizona was the ruler of her own life and that was the only fact that will matter to her, you could try and force what you think upon her, but that wasn't going to do you much justice. It was just going to make her push it more and more back into your face, understanding now that she didn't want whatever you had to say was your best bet, and very so, in your best interest to do.
Then again, someone who was new to her and had never met her before might be at a very slight disadvantage, but you'll get it after a few moments of spending some time with her. However you might not want to spend to much time with her after a few minutes because the way that she was. Either that or you'd be ripped into shreds, Arizona had a very poor handle on her own anger and well some often described her as a time bomb, the smallest things set her off. Remember that when meeting her if you could.
Long Arabian legs dashed out, rolling shoulders as her joins and muscles worked over time, moving to create her movement. Allowing her bodice to be directed into the direction that she wanted to go. Her hind end was the power; rolling hips. Pushing her legs down into the ground underneath herself, pushing her legs into the ground and muscles pushing her up and forward in a walking pace. She moved gracefully, mostly because it was to do with her breed, tailed rose, and flicked out behind her, chestnut colored locks hit against her hide, rippling the skin.
The sun overhead, beat down with it's rays, hitting upon her chestnut colored hide, allowing the rays to show off her slight gloss of health. Her neck arches slightly, as forelock draped over her white blaze upon her dial. Soon tossing her Arabian crania up, moving the strands of her long forelock out of her brown opticals sight path, allowing her to see the colors of the plains forming in her opticals.
The land looked dry, the summer heat taking it's toll upon the lands, she herself was a little on the parched side, but she ignored it and carried on, legs moving through the grass blades. Tongue licked at her lips, as she carried along, unamused look upon her mug. Allowing the silhouettes of the other equines in her opticals, but she ignored them - feeling that was best right now. This wasn't exactly her first day here, but still, it was the best thing right for her. Who knows, things were always destined to change.
Words: 709. Muse: Decent. For: Locket and Aislin, and open if Locket doesn't mind. =) Comment: Done, but sorry it's not amazing. =) However it is over 500 words, that's what count right? I hope you enjoy rping with her. ^^ "speech" |

Aislin had roamed these lands many a time as a young foal, trotting alongside her mother. But somehow time had seemed to change things. Funny how things worked out like that. There were either new inhabitants, that had found their way here, and knew little of what to expect, or there were those who had lived here all their lives, just now grown up versions from what Aislin could remember as a foal. Yes, a lot of things had changed. And some of it was more sorrow filled then she would have liked to admit. Like the passing of her mother, and the disappearance of her beloved lost soul mate. Both of which had been gone now over a little of a year. Though the pain and hurt still lingered. She had kind of disappeared herself for that year. Not having wandered too far from her homeland, Anonymous Air. Keeping to herself and weeping her loss alone. Not something you would consider healthy, but there was a lot of things that sometimes being left alone was the best medicine you could give yourself at the time.
At first appearance, her frame seemed a bit stockier then normal, for anyone who glanced upon could tell she had delicate breeding, but the somewhat stockier build would make you second guess yourself and really question what was her pedigree. In all truth, even she did not know. All she knew was her mother had been desert bred, pure arabian. And the other half of her... well she still was on a mission to find out herself. Her mother never seemed to worried about letting little Aislin know about her father. Saying it was for the best to keep somethings unsaid. She had been told that her father had left, to protect them, and that had left a deep grudge that for a long time, Aislin never admitted to herself. It wasn't until Ander, that she really began to reaccept the male race.
Ander had been her soul mate. A true fighting machine, which his name meant warrior. He was good at what he did. But when he had found Aislin, hating everything in site, he had grown to feel sorry and wished for her to see things in a new and different light. So he spent as much time as he could, being patient, persistent, and understanding. It had taken nearly a year, for him to finally break down her hatred of steeds. But just as they were really starting to connect and form an unending bond between them, he had been called away to war... And he never returned.
It was Ander's disappearance that first struck Aislin into depression. And then it was her mother's death. Her mother, Tempest, had searched far and wide, the whole perimeter of Clayalitay, in search of the one known as Dallas. But when she had returned, she had caught a fatale disease in her quest, that had taken her life only a few short days thereafter. So having lost the two most important things in her life, Aislin had become a hermit. Not knowing what to do with herself.
The evening air was sweet. Her sixteen hand frame casually etched its way across the meadow. She was looking for something to do, someone who seemed interesting. She had received her mother's curiosity. But being she was not a cat, she didn't believe curiosity would be after her. Her orbs scanned the expanse and landed on a chestnut mare who seemed to think otherwise of trying to join in a conversation. There was something about her presense that said stay back, do not come near me, or else. And it was this very demeanor that redirected Aislin's lithe movements towards this fae. Was she asking for trouble, not purposefully, but more than likely yes. Was she able to defend herself... she would find out. She couldn't just keep hiding the rest of her life and not know who she was.
The mare was a ways off, and so Aislin continued her journey towards the chestnut. The sun was at about two in the afternoon, so the heat from it's core was not so possessive as it had been earlier in the day. Though it continued to beat down on Aislin, the mare's hide, a steel canvas, soaked up it's warmth. The day had started of okay, and the thought of speaking to someone outside her homeland was kind of an exhilarating thought. Which made her already ground eating stride, seem to actually swallow whole the distance between the two mares. She didn't know why she was so earger to see what this mare was all about, for all she knew, she could be walking to her death bed... and at that thought, Aislin stopped for a brief moment and took a brisk glimpse of the mare who now stood some yards away.
Aislin gave a low whicker, to catch the vixen's attention. She did not wish to startle her, so she waited until the two mare's visions met as one. Only then did Aislin proceed to close the distance a little more. She could feel her stomach churn with each stride she took. Not in a bad way, but the butterflies were going stir crazy now, not knowing what to expect and full of excitement and anticipation. What did this mare in front of her have in store? What was she like? Finally, Aislin stopped a few feet away, and could instantly smell that this certain mare must be from the lands known as Fierce Fire. Aislin had heard of the lands, and some of it's members, but she did not recognize this mare. All the more for introductions. Don't you think?

What trouble could such a mare who was only a sixteen hand Arabian cause? Well you'd be really surprise in the trouble she could cause just by being around. She was never one to try and keep out of such things - unless she really had too. But even then, trouble was like a middle name. She knew that there were a few things, a few things rolling around in the pit of her mind about what she could do to get herself around - get herself known. Just by knowing her you could say that none of the things she was concocting were nice things. It wasn't like she was going to go out of her way to help someone around her, that was the last thing Arizona was going to do, even if you asked her too, she still wasn't going to do it, or she'd laugh, and spit her venomous like saliva in your face like you were nothing more than a piece of trash. Which to her you were, but that wasn't the point, everything she thought of was to cause pain to another, nothing nice was going to come out of her lips, unless she happened in some way to like you. However, it was very hard for Arizona to like a lot of equines, she always seemed to get into a lot of trouble when she was around them, she just guessed it was all apart of her personality, she couldn't help that she didn't get along with others as much as some of you would like. Mainly, because Arizona here was a bitch, but then, it was mostly mares that annoyed her or started arguments with her, why? Because of her whorish nature, that was why. Either that or the mares had to much of a jealous streak, but ether way, that was the reason as to why Arizona got into so much trouble. Was it going to be the same while she was here? She had no idea. She hadn't been here long. However she wasn't doubting herself to get into some kind of trouble with the mares like that, it was always how she got known, but it wasn't that it really bothered her either, she more or less to pride in the things she did. Seeing as she had nothing else to live for right now.
Now she was here, in the plains and really on her first trip where it was likely that she was going to meet someone, either by Arizona going to annoy them, or them starting up the conversation. Right now, Arizona had no idea what was going to happen, she didn't feel like getting into some argument right now, because most of her conversations ended like that - but sometimes it was just unavoidable. Oh well, she'd deal if it come back to that. It wasn't like Arizona was like some weak little mare who was going to take any shit that came her way, because she would, and she'd shove it back in your face if that was what you really deserved. She had a nasty nature most of the time, and her anger wasn't anything to cross if you knew what was good for you. Then again if you didn't know her; you might not know of it. Though if you wanted to keep your life, keep living in that body you walk around into, steering clear of Arizona was best, unless you were able to handle yourself against this fiery demoness. Saying that she was an all powerful beast was a little bit of a god look to her, she wasn't, though she acted like she was tough, sure, she could put a few good hits to another and even kill a beast for something if she really wanted too, but that wasn't saying she was the best around, and she could never be killed or hurt, we all knew that was not true. However, she was a cocky and egotistical mare if you'd like to call her that, she believed she was stronger than she was, and that was how she scared others, but until someone tried to hurt her and she lost against them, you weren't going to know if you could actually beat her or not. But if you wanted to risk your head in the process. Then you were more than welcome to try and tear her apart. Just don't go crying to your mommy when Arizona kicked your ass into the dirt. You couldn't say that she tried to warn you, however, the stallions who tried to act all tough but in the end got their balls ripped from underneath them were the ones to really suffer. All Arizona was able to do at something like that was laugh in your face. Hey, she did try to say she wasn't some weak little mare, and most of the time, Arizona was able to prove it. It was just a few times one idiot managed to work his way through the cracks and beat her down into the ground, but she wasn't about to admit that to you, fuck would she admit something like that.
Chestnut colored coat took in the suns rays; Arizona felt the warmth of it all upon the hind side of her bodice, but no. Not even something like that managed to chill her form out. She shrugged inwardly, ignoring the warmth feeling the rays gave her, and continued on her way, though as she moved along, the presence of another equine caught her form. It was just the feeling of watchful eyes upon her bodice that she felt - you know that feeling. It brought her to push a rumbling growl up her larynx, allowing it to seep out through her velvets and out into the air around her. Chasms locked upon her mares hide, snickering slightly as they kept a distance, but she noticed the mares watchful eyes upon Arizona's Arabian crimson colored bodice, glaring. Arizona's lips parted, as her voice and words were pushed up her larynx, parting her velvets, she allowed the mare to hear what she had to say. Words were harsh and annoyed like toned, as she let the mare take them in. What the fuck you looking at, whore?" Not that this mare was what Arizona was calling her, but this was just the way Arizona decided to greet her. Crimson colored plume flicked the locks upon her chestnut colored hide, showing the unamused look upon her maw, as Arizona stood with her head up, and opticals looking towards the mare, waiting for a response.

The trees had began to change color, and this happened to be Aislin's favorite season. It was when the breezes were the best when combing through your locks, and drying you off after a nice long swim. Though she had to admit that seeing the leaves actually fall off the trees saddened her. She didn't so much like seeing the trees bare, but with somewhat still life in them. Aislin carefully watched the other fiery mare turn towards her direction. If it had been any other mare, for the most, on the receiving end of this fire vixen introduction, Aislin was sure they would have said something even more stupid to provoke this mare even farther. But he words that were emitted from her mouth were shrugged off. Aislin may be a nice and easy-going mare, but she wasn't a mare to get offended easily. Some mares had their own special way of holding a conversation and Ais couldn't base judgement on what was said.
Aislin waited for a moment, not so much wondering how should she respond, but more so just soaking in the atmosphere around her. It was a lovely day, the sun was out, the trees were brightly colored all around her, making the meadow seem like something out of a fairy tale story, with the grass being somewhat of a gold color. The whole field rippled like a lake, and she couldn't help but smile at the gorgeous scenery. If there was one thing she wished she could do, it would be literally to fly, even for just a day, to see what the world she lived in looked like from above. It must just be breath taking. Absolutely stunning, she tried to imagine it now, but hadn't the faintest idea how to, since she had never even flown before. Though the closest thing she could probably relate it to would be standing on the ledge of a cliff, and that's when she shuddered, remembering her last incident, coming close to going over the edge, which could have ended badly, had she not come to a sliding stop just in time.
Now Aislin turned her attention back to the mare, having gotten side tracked a little and cleared her throat. She wasn't totally going to ignore the mare's first response to her approach, but at the same time, she was not a whore, and so technically, she felt, she didn't have to answer the question directly, instead she shrugged it off and flicked her auds forward and then back.
"Does it matter? Anyway, I was visiting the meadow, and thought I would come and establish myself as Aislin. I am from Anonymous Air. I happen to be curious by nature, and so here I am, exploring my surroundings and neighbors."
She said all this in one breath and casually. As if she already knew this mare could have cared less, but she said it anyway as to get the unfamiliarity out of the way. Aislin usually did better once she got the odd start to a conversation out of the way. She wasn't feeling like arguing or starting trouble, just getting to know how others worked. What made them tick. It was a fetish she had, I guess you could say. To know things inside and out. It wasn't always a bad thing, but sometimes she had found that strangers usually trust another stranger easier, only because they figure they will never meet again or whatever the jiucy information is about, the stranger will have no idea what they are talking about anyway, and they just needed to get it off their chest. Aislin had a lot of weird and useless information floating around in her head from just these kinds of conversations, though she had learned quiet a bit about her life and life in general that made most things come together and make sense.
Now turning to the mare again, pricking her harks forward, she focused her attention once again on her companion for the time being. Letting her vocals ring on the wind's whisper, she continued with her question.
"What are you called and where do you reside? What brought you here?"
Aislin, though she wasn't like most mares, getting offended easy, she did like asking questions, and found she actually offended others by asking a lot of her questions. But how is one suppose to learn anything, without asking questions. Observing was one thing, and observing actually you learned a lot more, but there were somethings that you could not learn by just observing, and if you did learn these things by observing, most likely you were either considered a peeping tom or you were obsessive and stocked them, learning the information through eavesdropping, which Aislin did not approve of. She found if you were going to get your ass chewed out for finding out information, you might as well have done it face to face instead of getting caught red handed and then having to defend yourself, and it only turned into a bigger mess then it actually had to be.
So there, she had asked her three questions, and now she waited patiently for a reply from the mare standing in front of her patiently.

Good things never came to Arizona, she wasn't expecting this to be anything different than that. Why? It was just the way that her life seemed to go. She had a very interesting life so far and she also had a feeling it was not going to go away on the days that were to come, she always made a bad impression - with the feeling of this being exactly the same. She didn't expect anyone around here to like her, like what she did, like how she acted. It didn't matter to her if that was the case or not, she was fine with that. She'd just go through life with what she believed was right, the right ways for her to live, and then she'd survive in the way that she wanted it and no one else that happened to be around her. Even living alone, she didn't mind that, that was easy, peaceful for her to do, wanting to banish her from your land as some sort of punishment didn't bother Arizona what so ever. I didn't matter to her if she was some weak little loner being on her own, she'd be fine with that, as long as the needs that she had were settled, then she was fine. Okay, so she had a little issue with being dependent, as long as she got a body with her a few times a week, Arizona was pretty sure that living out of a life with herd idiots was the best way forward for herself. Herd life, was never the bes thing for Arizona, mostly because of her own attitude, it just didn't sit well with others who had more power than she did, and seeing as she was new. That was going to be one of the biggest cases for her right now. Arizona was never the bes t mare to put in a herd of new girls, she wasn't exactly the best friend type of mare, she had never met someone who she could get along with, without it being a benefit like things. Sex with the boys, in other words. A group of mares, though Arizona had a little thing for them, weren't always what she wanted, besides a lot of the time they never wanted her back - what was the point in trying?
Arizona might be a little bit of a monster in a sexual way to you, but, she had always been this way, or ever since she had been able to learn to be this way. The ways her family had taught here were like imprinted on her mind, there was no way for them to get out, no way to change her, not like she'd want to change. It was like a hoof to the head, you'd end up with a scar if you were hit around the head hard enough, that was like. Though this mental scar wasn't exactly easy for you to spot. Now, she was talking to this mare, one who Arizona had found gawking at her like this mare was a little bit of an idiot, or that was the impression that Arizona got from the action that is. Not that she minded the attention, Arizona being the kind of attention seeking mare she had always been, loved the attention she was getting, she basked in it. Like it was something giving her life, if you wanted to be literate, it kinda was in a way. Since she thrived, or showed she thrived by attention. What a way to live, you could say. The winter was coming quickly, she could feel it, but would Arizona survive without a home? Ah, she didn't care about that, she was not living with some mouthy old herd whore for the winter months. Besides, who knew if she was ever going to actually find a place that would accept her. Arizona was not exactly the best herd member out there. Other than her home herd, she had never spent time in one for long before she got in some kinda trouble. Arizona always did what was best for herself in the end of the day, face it? Who wouldn't? With opticals upon the mare, brown orbs scanned over her body as they stood at a distance, Arizona made no attempt to get closer at this moment. Flicking her hind lock cords upon her hind hide, awaiting for the mares words, her reply back to Arizona, whatever the hell that was going to be. Though her twin towers perked forward, as they took in the simple vibrations of the mares words, Arizona's nostrils flapped as she snorted the carbon from within her out.
Words were answering Arizona's question; like she cared to much. But her harks kept them in, sending what she had spoken towards her brain and thinking up a reply on both sets of words which were heard. Arizona shifted slightly, getting comfortable, and ready for any long conversation that may happen to go on, Arizona didn't know at this point. Neck rounded for a moment, feeling the slight annoyance deep within her case, tucking her chin to her chest. She quickly exercised her jaw muscles, before looking up and upon the other mare, as she started who she was. "Arizona. Fierce Fire. New around here, really." Cooling down as her words soon settled. Flicking her cords against her hind legs, waiting for anything else to come.
