Once a magical place, turned into hell. A bright orange flame eating all the vegetation like it was going out of style. Screams of horror were heard in the night. Thunder rolled over head, bright strikes of lighting turned the sky a light gray, making the storm clouds visible every couple of seconds. A tree knocked over, dangerously close to a particular mare. Thundering hooves and sad cries were the last things she heard as she ran for her life. The fire was quickly spreading around the campsite, taking many lives. Both human and equine. It had all started when a lightning bolt had struck a tree, setting it on fire. It wasn't long until the fire rampaged through the forest and to the native American's homes. Their homes were set aflame almost instantly, the unlucky humans in them burned within them. All of the horses had seen the fire coming, but their warnings weren't heard by their owners. Moments after the fire had come, the horses ran. Including Kachina, a young filly. She ran with her mother, barely managing to keep up. Her thin little legs were carrying her as fast as they possibly could. With her heart about to burst out of her chest, she glanced back and her eyes went wide at the scene. Her home, the place she was born, was being destroyed by fire. Tears in her eyes, Kachina turned back around and raced behind her mother. "Mama!? What's going on?!" the little filly shouted. Her mother ignored the question though. "Kachina, I want you to run ahead without me. I will be there shortly. Go now! Her mother shouted at her. With a frantic and scared look, Kachina's mother turned and ran back to the fire. After stopping and staring after her mother worriedly for a few minutes, Kachina quickly raced away again. While Kachina ran, her mother tried saving some of the poor humans that were confused on what was happening. Hours later, China was still waiting for her mother safely by a creek far from the fire. The poor filly had no clue her mother had died. After waiting for a few more hours, Kachina went on, looking for her mother thinking she missed her. 'What happened to my mama?' the foal had thought.
Snapping out of the vision like memory, Kachina snorted and raised her head, her eyes slightly bloodshot. What the heck was that? With a roll of her eyes, she continued on in her morning walk. Birds chirped around her, small animals bounced around happily, though some moved away from the large mare. Kachina did not mind though. She knew that they just didn't want to be stepped on. Closing her eyes for a second, she inhaled deeply, the crisp air feeling good. A moment later, she opened her eyes and glanced around, stopping in her tracks. She was confused. Why would she have a flash back about a scene like that? She hadn't been in a situation like that. She didn't think at least. With a swish of her tail and another snort, she shoved the flashback and questions to the back of her mind. Why worry on something that was so unimportant? The world was so much more interesting anyways! With a whinny, she took off at a gallop, her daggers pushing into the soft earth and pushing her faster. The air felt great, so she was barely sweating. The rush of wind lifted up her mane and tail, sending them waving in the sky. After a few minutes of running around in large circles, she stopped immediately, digging her hooves into the ground. Dirt flew everywhere, though Kachina barely noticed. She reared back on her hind legs, her front legs slicing through the air. With a loud whinny, she smiled and "hit" the air with her hooves. A moment later she was back on her hooves, shaking her head and giggling. It felt so good. She felt so good. It was just wonderful to be alive! With a laugh, Kachina glanced around before trotting around. Yes, the mare was odd. Did she care? Not at all. She knew she was different then others, but she couldn't possibly care less. Slowing down to a walk, she breathed deeply, trying to slow down her fast beating heart. She felt like a little filly again.
After a few minutes, she lowered her muzzle to the ground, searching for any grass that was long enough to eat. Narrowing her eyes, she examined the ground. It was all smashed, the grass low. There must have been a lot of horses here. Another swish of her tail and Kachina's muzzle was open and she was nibbling on what grass she could manage to bite. After a half hour of grazing, she raised her head and looked around. If the ground was packed down like that, there must be somebody around. Now where the freak were they? 'They are so hiding. I can feel it. Oh! We can play hide and seek!' The mare thought. With a giggle, she walked around, lowering her head slightly and glancing around. Hide and seek was only fun if the other person knew you were playing, otherwise they would move when you got close. Hearing a small scuffling sound, Kachina snorted and quickly turned around, coming face to face with a rabbit. After staring at it for a few minutes, she smiled and went to nudge the furry little creature when it turned and bolted away. A heartbeat later, Kachina shot after it. Though the chase was over when the rabbit ran into a bolt hole. "That is so not fair! Stupid cheating rabbit.
" Her words were loud, though her tone was not mean, more amused then anything. She was about to turn around when she caught a scent on the wind. Grimacing, she raised her head and looked around. There was another horse around. Somewhere. Now just to find them. Not really wanting to play hide and seek, Kachina shouted at the top of her lungs. "I know you're out there! Might as well come out!" Then she waited there silently, for once. Maybe she could be friends with this new horse.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

The weather was far too wonderful to let it go to waste. With a stretch with his front pistons, slid forward and his chest lowered to the realm’s soil. Twigs and debris clung to his unblemished mahogany pelt. Shacking violently it all fell to the forest floor. A bulky stallion stood up from where he was bedded down for the afternoon, in the roots of an old growth. Cerulean optics glanced around the world casually and noticed it was exactly how he had left it before he drifted off. His dreams were empty and his mind lay low in thought. There was nothing wrong and there was nothing right. It was all just… neutral. The hot rays from the atmosphere warmed his veins and he was ready to make his way towards his village, it had been a hell of a long travel but he knew he was close. His nostrils could smell the water just waiting for him, while his tongue tasted the sweet crystalline depths of its icy power. Axel was more then ready to be home…
Once Axelular stood from his slumber, his eyelids lied flatly; heavy with sleep. Slowly he moved forward on a game trail and let his nostrils guide him to his destination. Sleep grew heavier on his cerulean optics, and he found himself closing them and just letting his four other senses guide him. His broad pistons could tell when he veered off the path, his pricks took in the noise when he was walking off the side, his nostrils helped guide him towards the water, his tongue could taste the trail itself and helped guide him, and his insightful feelings could tell when he wasn’t being guided the right direction. [color=whiteI’d make one hell of a blind horse opening his optics he laughed softly to himself as he found himself still walking straight down the small beaten path.
Twenty minutes had blessed amiably and Axel found himself walking out of the forest’s shadowed depths and into the plains bright and warming clutches. It was as if a welcoming hug, inviting him farther. Tossing his large cranium into the ambiance he let a low deep nicker roll out of his parched vox. A thick, ebony forelock slapped his muzzle as he tossed his cranium once more. The atmosphere was just so welcoming and warming that it seemed to amp what little energy he had. Before he knew it his pistons kicked in to second gear and he slowly jogged down the path that led into the short cut vegetation. While he jogged slowly he nickered once more but was quickly cut off by a far off whinny from what it sounded like a young vixen. Suddenly his ticker began to beat heavily against his rips and his whipcord slapped his barely excitedly. He had yet to meet any equines in this forsaken land and he was dying to speak to some one, any one really.
Before he knew it Axel kicked it into overdrive and barreled off the path and cut towards her. His pistons struck the earth harshly ripping the vegetation from it’s roots and flung beneath his accelerating bodice. Within a few hundred yards he broke down to a leisure gallop and then down to a slow paced jog. His lungs were not oxygen deprived for his stamina was quite outstanding. Coming to a sudden halt, all the ebony tassels of his thick banner slapped his nape and smiled sweetly. His deep cerulean optics met her sweet chocolate audits and he couldn’t help but smile even bigger. If horses could blush, he would be. Her complexion was absolutely to die for and her bleached pelt gleamed vibrantly, as if an angel was right there in front of him. Slowly his maw parted and avery welcoming and deep tone rang brightly, ”Hell-lo…” Axel studdered slightly then cleared his vocals quickly and recovered quickly, ”How do you do Miss… My name is Axelular, but please call me… Axel.” A very nervous smile spread across his bleach face as her nerves began to fry. She was absolutely gorgeous and he was having a hard time even thinking clearly.
